Payments in Euro and Czech Koruna

Personal account for extra expenses

In order to simplificate the life on board, a non-cash system has been introduced on ships. All of your personal expenses (boat boutiques, excursions purchased, massages, drinks, staffing bills ...) are automatically charged to your personal account. When shopping, just submit a cabin card and sign the account.
On the last evening of the cruise, a total bill will then be delivered to your cabin. If you have registered your credit card, payment will be made automatically. For payment in cash and - depending on the particular shipping company - also when paying by electronic card you must come to the reception.
VISA, American Express, MasterCard, Discover are credit cards accepted by most shipping companies and by destination and company also cash in euro EUR or US dollar USD.

Phone and Internet

If you are within range of mobile networks from land, prices are based on roaming tables * of your mobile moderator. Some ships also have a permanent mobile signal, but charges are much higher than normal roaming.
On boats, you can also use landlines or the Internet Café for a fee. On most cruises, wireless WiFi internet connection is already available according to the current price list of the shipping company. Discounted packages with a volume or time limit are available, which are usually available for purchase before the cruise.
As far as the Internet is concerned, the connection on ships is via satellites and therefore the price of these services is quite high, and the connection is generally slow and unstable.
Tip: Take advantage of the fact that you are not "online" and enjoy the cruise fully. WhatsUp, Facebook and Instagram keep for a while with coffee or a glass of wine in one of the many cafes in one of the ports.
*From 15 June 2017, all citizens of the European Union can use the roaming service for the price as in their home country. This applies to all types of services, ie data, voice or SMS, they pay the amount they pay at home.

Medical care

Each ship has a medical center with medical staff working under the guidance of a doctor. The Centre's working hours are listed in the ship's newspaper or contact the reception. Medical emergency service is available throughout the day at the appropriate telephone number.
Medical service on board is charged. Fees are listed directly in the center and are automatically debited to your credit card. We therefore recommend to participants in advance to conclude individual medical cost insurance.

Although many medicines are available on board of luxury boats, they cannot satisfy all the needs of passengers, so we recommend that you take your necessary medicines with you.

Ship newspaper

The next day's daily program will be delivered to you in the form of a boat newspaper every night. The program includes, a short weather forecast and detailed information about the activities and entertainment events organized the next day by the ship's staff.

Catering
The daily meal times of each ship's restaurant are listed in the ship's newspaper (see above).
Breakfast is served in the buffet restaurant and in the main restaurants. Continental breakfast is also available on request in most cabins, except on the day of disembarkation.
Lunch is served in buffet and main restaurants (according to information in the boat newspaper).
For most shipping companies, dinner in the main restaurants is divided into two rounds for capacity reasons, guests have seats allocated and more formal clothing is required, while there is no time limit for buffet restaurants.
In addition, there is at least one all-day dining option on each boat, where you can eat at any time (or almost anytime).
Gluten-free and vegetarian menus are available on request, as well as a good selection of gluten-free and lactose-free foods - see also the article about food intolerance and allergy.
In addition to the major gourmet menus, most of the boats have special gourmet menus, and their menus are often compiled by the world's most famous chefs. Meals in these restaurants are not included in the cruise price and are available upon reservation.

As for drinks

For wine lovers there is always a rich offer of international wines of various brands, which will satisfy even the highest requirements. Themed tastings (for a fee), such as whiskey, cognac, Italian wine tastings, are often made during the cruise.

Drinks and services related to their serving, which are not included in the price of the cruise, are credited to your personal shipping bill by card. In the final bill, the service charge for the staff is added to the total amount. There is no need to pay any additional service when ordering bars and restaurants.

The information on the added service charge does not apply to holders of beverage packages if the beverages are included in the purchased package.

Shops and services on board

A wide selection of branded merchandise is available in Duty & Tax duty-free on-board shops: clothing, cosmetics, perfumery, jewelry stores, goggles, sun creams, tobacco products, beverages and liner logo products. Shops are closed during stops in ports.

Hairdressers and beauty salons, a sauna and a massage parlor, gym, laundry and photo service are available on all boats. Price lists are displayed on board.

Deck chairs on sun deck

The deck chairs on the upper deck as well as the beach towels are available free of charge to passengers, but cannot be booked. Some shipping companies have staff who collect bath towels or other items from the deck chairs if they remain empty for an extended period of time in order to avoid their all-day occupation.

Fun and fitness

Guests can use the on-site modern fitness facilities and SPA services (most of which are mostly for a fee). There is a rich all-day program covering different areas.

You can take part in group exercises under the guidance of trained practitioners - from morning warm-ups, aqua-gymnastics in pools, to pilates, yoga or spinning lessons.
There are competitions for playing bridge, bingo, canast and party games, minigolf, volleyball, song festivals, masquerade balls and beauty contests. Also a lot of interesting lectures and courses: dance and language, painting, make-up, bridge, as well as courses in working with computer programs or phone applications; There are lectures about healthy eating, about the ports visited and so on.

*Some activities may incur additional charges.

In the evening, there is a disco, casino, live music in the lounges, a cinema, as well as ice shows, water acrobatics, cabarets and jazz clubs. The highlight of the evening is a show in the boat theater (musicals, concerts, acrobatic performances, magic shows, etc.).

Coastal Trips (Excursions)

Trips in ports will allow you to use the most efficient and interesting time in the visited port. Quality transport and the services of professional guides are a matter of course. There are always several options to choose from, from a simple city walk or bus trip to helicopter flights, tastings of local specialties, jeep rides on desert dunes, a day spent on a yacht with snorkeling, swimming with turtles and much more.
Excursions organized by the shipping company are optional and charged. You can buy them before going on a cruise or on board the ship. Basic information can be found in the shipping newspaper, but the ship's staff will provide you with detailed information about the excursion options.

However, if you are not interested in an excursion, you can organize the seaside program yourself; discover a nearby town on your own, rent a car from a rental company or use the services of local taxi drivers. The last one is cost effective, especially if you're 3 or 4. In most places, taxi drivers will offer you a program to visit the attractions there, not just a simple pick-up, and they will often be skilled and knowledgeable guides.

Route / Right of Change

The Company reserves the right, at its discretion and / or at the discretion of the captain of each ship (which may not be exercised disproportionately) to decide whether the ship will divert from the scheduled or a normal route, whether a ship's voyage is moved or delayed, whether planned stopping ports are omitted or altered, whether the same shipment by another ship is ensured, whether the ship is towed or allowed to tow, or helps other ships or does other similar acts which, in the opinion of the company and / or captain, are appropriate or necessary for the safety of passengers, ship and crew. In such circumstances, neither the Company nor the Carrier/Forwarder shall be liable or responsible to the passenger for financial compensation.

Charges for services

With the exception of some shipping companies (AIDA, TUI, Silversea, Oceania…) where this item is already included in the cruise price, all on-board services (cabin cleaning, dinner service, etc.) are charged as a service charge, gratuity. Reimbursement of this pay is required at the end of the voyage and depends on the number of days the services were provided. Service charges maintain a high standard of passenger service.
This fee is about € 10-13 per day and person, depending on shipping company, itinerary and accommodation category.

Valuables

All cabins are equipped with safety deposit boxes. The shipping company is not responsible for the loss or theft of money or valuables that are stored in cabins or luggage, or left unattended.

Smoking

In accordance with global standards, more space is reserved for non-smokers than for smokers. Smoking is only allowed in well-marked areas (with intense or modified clean air inlet).
Due to the anticipated and proven risk of fire, smoking is also prohibited in cabins, and for most shipping companies, the ban also applies to balconies.

Smoking is then allowed in a few bars on one side (marked with inscriptions) of the outdoor pool deck, where ashtrays are also installed.
Never throw cigarette butts overboard because the wind could pull them back, which could create a fire hazard.

Electrical voltage

The 110V / 220V power supply is available on board all ships. If necessary, passengers can request appropriate adapters for the power outlets at the reception.

Special Opportunities

If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary or just wanting to surprise, every shipping company offers a variety of options: champagne bottles, fresh flower bouquets, chocolate strawberries, cakes of different sizes .... We from Oneworld Travel - Luxury cruises will be happy to assist you.

Laundry room

Laundry services are available for all companies. You can find the price list in your cabin or ask at the reception.

Accommodation

Even though you will feel like you are in a comfortable hotel, don't forget that you are on a boat and the boat is a mechanical machine. Depending on the destination, weather, cabin location, age and construction of the ship, it is therefore possible that you may feel vibrations or even the sound of engines on board during the voyage. This happens especially in the lowest (and cheapest) categories, with cabins located in the most unfavorable positions. Therefore, if you have an increased sensitivity to noise or a very light sleep, we recommend choosing one of the higher categories of accommodation.
The ship's inevitable maintenance work is also being performed on ships on a continuous basis; usually in the early morning hours or during the mainland stop.
These facts are not a reason for a complaint and it is therefore not possible to request a cabin change or compensation.
