Health Spa Resort Esplanade **** is a 4 * wellness hotel in Piešťany. This modern complex, built in 1980, has undergone extensive renovations in recent years. The non-smoking hotel in the heart of the Spa Island focuses on health care.

Piešťany Spa Island is one of the largest and most exceptional spa complexes in Europe On a beautifully landscaped island, with lily ponds and peacocks, in the middle of Slovakia’s River Váh, sits a unique spa island dedicated to your health and wellbeing. Natural healing procedures in Piešťany are particularly effective in improving mobility and relieving physical pain and tension. Thermal mineral water is unique for its high content of sulfur (6 - 10 mg / l) and hydrogen sulfide (4,7 mg / l), which have beneficial effects in the treatment of chronic inflammation and musculoskeletal disorders.

Hotel Esplanade offers 259 rooms including 15 suites and in the Wing of the Palace 198 rooms including 6 suites. Apartments offer visitors balconies overlooking the tranquil surroundings of Piešťanský Spa Island. Culinary delicacies are offered in various restaurants. Covid-19 measures:

• All guests will be required to take an entrance test for COVID-19.
• The hotel introduces an entrance quick-test as a preventive measure, to increase the safety and security of guests and staff. Testing will be provided by paramedics before accommodation.

• Only accommodated guests will be allowed to enter the restaurants and cafes, but even here they will observe min. 2-meter distances.
• Guests can dine for changes if needed (assigned at check-in).
• In establishments where there is a buffet, the chef will serve food from the buffet tables according to the choice and wishes of the guest. Drinks will be served to guests by a waiter.
• Employees will oversee the observance of 2m intervals and that no too long row is created at the buffet table.
• An outdoor pool is not allowed.
• All swimming and whirlpools and saunas, steam baths and relaxation rooms will function normally until further notice.
• The capacity of the pool will be reduced.
• All mass events are prohibited.
• 1 customer per 15 m2 is allowed in closed shops. The distance between customers is also 2m.
