Thermal spring and mineral spa Vyšné Ružbachy are located in the northeastern part of Spiš on the sunny southern foot of Spišská Magura. The spa is famous for its mineral waters. The most prosperous is the source of Isabel, which fills the summer swimming pool. In the middle of the pool is a circular island with greenery. Aqua Thermall Wellness with indoor thermal pool offers jacuzzi, herbal steam sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, ice bath, cooling jets and Finnish cooling bucket and thermal water pools.
Grand Hotel Strand **** is built in Spanish style Year-round indoor thermal pool and is connected to the Balneotherapy building, where services are also provided for clients seeking relaxation and rest. Directly in the hotel is located Aqua Thermall Wellness. The hotel also has a restaurant and Lobby bar. Hotel offers modern double rooms and apartments. Rooms are equipped with bathroom, toilet, radio, telephone, TV-SAT, internet. Catering for hotel clients is directly in the hotel.
Hotel Travertín *** is located in beautiful environment of spa parks in a quiet valley of Zamagurska nature. Travertine II building. is located close to Travertine I. (buildings are connected by a connecting corridor). The hotel offers twin rooms. Rooms are equipped with shower, toilet, satellite TV, radio, telephone and balcony. Boarding is in historic building White House.
Swiss Houses *** are located in the spa center, reminiscent of alpine log architecture. I will offer you Swiss houses peace and quiet, which is preferred especially by clients with families, but also by couples. They provide clients maximum comfort in renovated hotel rooms. Rooms are equipped with bathroom, toilet, radio, telephone, TV-SAT. Boarding is in historic building White House - right in front of the houses.
There are 18 springs in the spa area, which are one of the most powerful springs in Europe. Hydrocarbonate-sulphate, calcium-magnesium, hydrogen carbonate healing springs and encouraging climatic conditions they are a prerequisite for the treatment of oncological diseases, circulatory system diseases, chronic bronchitis, locomotive organs diseases, mental diseases, female diseases and occupational diseases. The treatment uses the effects of balneotherapy, physical therapy, electrotherapy, rehabilitation and psychotherapy.
Covid-19 measures:
- Wellness services at the Strand Hotel are available
- The pool is open
- Each incoming client is also obliged to prove a negative result of the AG test not older than 3 days, or by PCR test, not older than 3 days. If a client is vaccinated with AstrouZeneca - 4 weeks after the first dose, or PFIZER / MODERNA 2 weeks after the second vaccination - onset testing is not mandatory.

| We have had an excellent experience with the Balnea Grand facility, we have returned here for the third time, the level of all-inclusive food is excellent, all meals are prepared from quality ingredients. Served drinks are such a classic. The buffet by the pool offers fast food-type food, which is delicious. The outdoor pool is suitable for smaller and older children, but also for seniors, the indoor pool is more suitable for older children and adults. The surroundings of the hotel are in a pleasant park on a spa island, an ideal place for relaxing walks. The hotel staff is pleasant and polite. The rooms of the Grand wing were renovated approximately 20 years ago, some rooms have newer equipment, the rooms have a refrigerator and a TV. The bathroom and toilet are older, but clean and well maintained. The advantage is also the possibility to pick up your pet for an additional fee, our dachshund has been very happy here for years. Now, however, we have come to relax without him. | |

| most of the whole hotel we were satisfied with the food, there was a large selection of dishes, fruits, vegetable salads and desserts. As for accommodation, it was nice, and the neighbors accommodated - specifically foreigners from Ukraine, who repeatedly smoked on the balcony. after the announcement made at the reception, we were told that we were unlucky because we had no proof. the Ukrainians allegedly told them that they did not smoke, while we talked to them and one of them blew smoke into the husband in protest with the words "sejcas smatriii" (look at the translation now). I would like to draw the attention of the hotel management that instead of writing meaningless questionnaires (which would deserve the attention of the Slovak) on arrival, they should consider giving clients signing the hotel's conditions, which can be punished by a fine in case of violation. I also have a comment on the pools .. since these are relaxing stays, where peace and quiet should be observed, this is not respected by parents with children who are screaming, stunned and generally noisy .. | |
