Hotel *** Avalanche is a modernly renovated hotel in the High Tatras, which is located in the picturesque village of Štôla directly below the highest Tatra peak Gerlach peak. The hotel is an ideal choice for a romantic stay.
Accommodation provides v above-standard spacious rooms with total 50 capacity. All rooms are equipped with: bathroom, toilet, TV / LCD, radio, telephone, safe a internet connection. Most rooms have spacious south-facing balcony with wide views ridge of the Low TatrasOr High Tatras. Available by availability: Double Room (1 Extra Bed), LUX Room (2 Extra Bed). The hotel also has apartments and large family rooms.
It is available privately wellnesswhere guests can use: whirlpool, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, hydromassage box, massage shower a relaxation zone just for your own use. Every guest can enjoy wellness without interference with your family or partner and make your stay in whirlpool for example a glass of chilled sparkling wine. Of course the hotel services are a wide range of professional massages. You can order eg. honey massage or lava stone massage. In the summer season you can take a refreshing dip in the outdoor covered pool which is usually open from early May to mid-September.

| We have had an excellent experience with the Balnea Grand facility, we have returned here for the third time, the level of all-inclusive food is excellent, all meals are prepared from quality ingredients. Served drinks are such a classic. The buffet by the pool offers fast food-type food, which is delicious. The outdoor pool is suitable for smaller and older children, but also for seniors, the indoor pool is more suitable for older children and adults. The surroundings of the hotel are in a pleasant park on a spa island, an ideal place for relaxing walks. The hotel staff is pleasant and polite. The rooms of the Grand wing were renovated approximately 20 years ago, some rooms have newer equipment, the rooms have a refrigerator and a TV. The bathroom and toilet are older, but clean and well maintained. The advantage is also the possibility to pick up your pet for an additional fee, our dachshund has been very happy here for years. Now, however, we have come to relax without him. | |

| most of the whole hotel we were satisfied with the food, there was a large selection of dishes, fruits, vegetable salads and desserts. As for accommodation, it was nice, and the neighbors accommodated - specifically foreigners from Ukraine, who repeatedly smoked on the balcony. after the announcement made at the reception, we were told that we were unlucky because we had no proof. the Ukrainians allegedly told them that they did not smoke, while we talked to them and one of them blew smoke into the husband in protest with the words "sejcas smatriii" (look at the translation now). I would like to draw the attention of the hotel management that instead of writing meaningless questionnaires (which would deserve the attention of the Slovak) on arrival, they should consider giving clients signing the hotel's conditions, which can be punished by a fine in case of violation. I also have a comment on the pools .. since these are relaxing stays, where peace and quiet should be observed, this is not respected by parents with children who are screaming, stunned and generally noisy .. | |
